We are the North London Deaf Children’s Society
North London Deaf Children’s Society aims to support families of deaf children by sharing experiences and knowledge, offering emotional and social support and by organising events and activities for the children.
The children have different degrees of hearing impairment, from partially to profoundly deaf and use all methods of communication.
Our members include families with deaf children living across the whole of North London and professionals concerned with the welfare and education of deaf children. We have members from Camden, Islington, Haringey, Barnet, Brent and Enfield.
Attendance at our events is dependent on paying the annual £5 membership fees. These fees are important. Along with generous donations they help us to organise activities and events for deaf children and their families.
