About Us

North London Deaf Children’s Society has been in existence since 1979 and aims to support families of deaf children by sharing experiences and knowledge, offering emotional and social support and by organising events and activities for the children and their families.

All of the charity trustees sit on the NLDCS committee and meet monthly to plan and organise these activities. We are all volunteers and all of the current trustees are parents of deaf children and young people.   We welcome professionals, grandparents and others with a genuine commitment to deaf children to join the committee.

The NLDCS is an affiliated local group of the National Deaf Children’s Society, who provide advice, support and inspiration.
