Children’s Hearing Services Working Groups (CHSWGs) are working groups made up of people representing all the services involved supporting hearing impaired children, including Audiologists, Hearing Support Service, Teachers of the Deaf, Speech and Language Therapists, Community Pediatricians, ENT, School Nurse, Health Visitors, NDCS, Social Services and parents.
Each Health Authority area should have an active CHSWG as they monitor and develop integrated services for deaf children and their families.
Parent representatives are essential, so get involved in your local CHSWG!
