RED is a magical twist on the tale of Little Red Riding Hood – where the familiar turns unexpected, and nothing is quite what it seems.

Featuring a cast of over 200 performers, original music, breath-taking sets, and spectacular design, each performance promises an unforgettable festive theatre experience for audiences of all ages.

There is a free car park and other parking in surrounding street and a cafe selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Join us at the Young V&A – the Children’s Museum

Date: 15 March 2025
Time: 2.00 – 5.00
Venue: Young V&A
Cost: £5 adult / £2 sibling (discounted due to the generosity of the the V&A)
Free for deaf child/ren

Join us as we visit the newly renovated Young V&A in Bethnal Green to explore the wonders of the Children’s Museum. We will be visiting the 3 play spaces, interactive exhibits and we have tickets for ‘Making Egypt’ exhibition.

All ages are welcome, from toddlers to grandparents, but you must book in advance so we know how many children are coming. As we are meeting at 2pm, bring some snacks. Siblings are welcome too!

Please complete *this form* and join our Young V&A visit with the NLDCS. Your tickets will not be guaranteed until you have paid. (Sorry no refunds available). If you are in receipt of Universal Credit we may be able get additional free tickets. Just let us know on the form.

NLDCS Autumn Fair

Join us for autumnal fun and games at our next event. It’s a great opportunity to meet other local families, make new friends and catch up with old ones.

Time: 2.30pm – 5pm

Age: Suitable for everyone
Cost: Free for members

Please remember that your child/ren are your responsibility throughout the party.

As usual, to keep our costs down, we’re asking you to bring some sharing food to eat or drink – preferably finger food that doesn’t need heating up and can be eaten without cutlery. Please mark what it is, and whether it contains nuts/meat or is suitable for vegetarians.

NLDCS Family Picnic

NLDCS Family Picnic
Venue: Highgate Wood
Date: Saturday 20th July
Time: 2pm

A chance to meet old and new NLDCS families in a relaxed space.

We will meet in the grassy picnic area near the cafe and cricket field, for a picnic. Please bring your own picnic and blanket to sit on and let us know how many in your family are coming. Please do bring along balls and outdoor games. We will bring the parachute!

Highgate Wood is a beautiful old wood with lots of trees to climb and log dens to play in. There is also a playground, toilets, and cafe and dogs are welcome. Please note that bike riding is not permitted in the woods.

The woods are close to Highgate Station (Northern line) and various bus routes. The wood itself does not have a car park but street parking is available in the surrounding area.
